From the off Dean opened our eyes to different ideas of how our extended home could look. 

“A few years ago, whilst toying with the idea of moving house,  my partner asked if we could maybe make the house we have work better for us instead. A friend then recommended Dean Maisey to us. After contacting Dean he came around to visit our home and explained the service he offered. Even before we had made a decision on whether to move house or stay and have an extension, Dean walked around with us and his expertise became obvious very early on.

After little thinking time we were sure that staying and having an extension was a much better idea than moving.  We then contacted Dean again and he went through the options of the services he offered once more, making the stages obvious, clear and simple.

The whole experience with Dean was so easy. He produced amazing plans, liaised with authorities and got planning approved much quicker than we anticipated was possible. After planning had been approved we thought that the business relationship we’d developed with Dean was all done, particularly as his services had been paid for and everything approved. However, mid build the buildings inspector had some issues and the authorities said they had not received everything required.  


On contacting Dean he said he would find and resend the documents. He did not complain at all and despite completing the job months before got straight on to it. As it happens the Local Authority had received the documents and contacted me to admit their error. Dean still resent everything regardless to ensure no further holdups would occur. The experience with Dean was simply EXCELLENT. He is a fantastic guy, with lots of knowledge and expertise. Would definitely recommend. Thank you so very much Dean - we love our home so much. The extra bedroom has been a god send through this crazy pandemic and worked as a fantastic office space, whilst the family room is simply awesome. So glad that you helped us at the start of the journey of upgrading our house to a perfect, well loved, family home”
