our client's kitchen was the heart of their home and so to get the best out of this area, dean maisey design architectural services were able to transform the way in which this room was used.

completing a design of a well loved home always presents some challenges but we could see there was space on the ground floor which could provide the open plan feel the client wanted and valuable additional space. 

taking the look and feel of the house with the style of the neighbourhood, we transformed this home by adding a single storey extension which presented an airy feel directly into the garden. Light was important and so make sure this was accommodated, four windows were installed into the new roof. The open plan design was complemented by bi-fold doors making the external decking area seem a continuation of the kitchen.
